Best day of my life

I woke up in the morning at about 11:12 and I was sooo excited because I was going swimming with grace so when I got to swimming me and her spent the together just laughing. So when we left I got home and me and dad went for a bike ride laughing the whole time then we got some sun glasses for me.When we got home dad decide to order some pizza and the Best part of that was .......... WE GOT A 2 LITER BOTTLE OF ROOT BEER MY FAVE POP.after that we read a bit. then we played some gamage. That was pretty much my best day ever

SNOW

WOW it snowed in nanaimo. On the first day we got about halve a foot of snow (maybe more but who knows) . But we are on the second day at about 9:32 AM and so far we had a few flakes... ... ... DARN oh well maybe more snow will come soon. well that's all for now. BYE.

A hard kid to buy for

So,we were going to Zellers to get me some new pants. We got there and we found like 10 pairs. I got to the dressing room and tried on the pants. Almost ALL the pants where too big ARGG!!! We finally found a pair that I need a belt for but besides that they are good. Now we're down to the last pair and I tried them on WOW! They fit perfectly. I was amazed. Well, that's all. Bye.

Hi it's me.Wow we launched my rocket and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cool.It went sooo frickin high,at LEAST 1000 feet(or that's what on the says on the box) it also smelled very BAD.Anyway here is a video of it launching.

Shrooms...

Okay, so what's a gurl to do? My latest obsession is with, what I consider the most captivating, delicious, cleverly concealed delicacy know to humankind - the Mushroom. (yes, in my eyes, it deserves a capital letter!!) I have known and loved them since the dawn of time and am always overjoyed to see them coyly displayed on a veggie platter, just waiting for me to indulge. But.....the humble, yet delicious common button mushroom pales in comparison (pun completely intended) with the wide variety of wild mushrooms that bless this Island. I've recently become intimately acquainted with the Shaggy Mane:

They are absolutely so yummy when sauteed with butter, olive oil and garlic and then eaten on a neutral tasting cracker - LOVE IT! I'm fortunate that I have a reliable spot where I can dig up these scrumptious, little darlings. I've only divulged this spot to a chosen few. As someone recently said: "Shrooms are like fish, you don't give out your spot" - Sooooo true!

So, imagine my delight when walking the doggies this morning, I found a variety of fun-guys across the road in the school yard. Ok,Ok I realize that very few people will share my unbridled enthusiasm for mushrooms - I'm sure that I'll get over it. I just happened to have a pocket full of bags - go figgure - so I decided to unearth a few and see if I can identify them or more realistically, have someone else do it for me. (I have to give credit to GB at this point as she definitively identified my first Shaggy Manes and ate them without a second thought. I can still be a big, baby fungiphobe.....)
